EFCC picks PDP former acting chairman, Secondus

Former acting national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Uche Secondus has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Daily Trust learnt that he was picked up by operatives of the anti-graft agency early on Wednesday morning over alleged corruption.

Secondus only handed over to the party's new national chairman Ali Modu Sheriff few days ago.

He took over the reins of the party after the 2015 general election following the resignation of Adamu Muazu as national chairman.
